Hello everyone,
My name is Eureecia. This is my very first blog. I figured I'd share some of my thoughts with you all. I am a lover of all things beauty and fashion related. I have a slight obsession to YouTube as well. But anywho, I plan on posting more this upcoming year of 2014. I have some great things in mind and I am really excited! I hope you enjoy.

Clarisonic Dupe?

vs.

I bought the Pretika Sonic Dermabrasion Facial Brush this past December as a gift to myself. First off, I should start by saying this a really affordable product and a great investment. It was under $30. The Pretika has two settings a high speed and a low speed. I always opt to use the higher speed because I really want a deep clean feeling. The Pretika works well with any facial cleanser. Personally, I use mine with the Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash or Clinique Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam. It removes dirt, oils, and makeup left behind from my makeup remover wipes. It really gives a great clean feeling after each use. It also good for exfoliating, it really gets in and cleans out your pores. Since I've started using it, I've seen a difference in my skin.

Before I actually purchased the Pretika, I had to do some research. I read reviews online and of course I watched some reviews on YouTube. I was a bit skeptical at first but I still decided to give it a try. Some compared the Pretika to the Clarisonic Mia. I don't have a Clarisonic so I don't know if they are comparable, but they do have the same basic functions. So I think the Pretika would be a great, cheaper alternative. (Its $100 cheaper.) I don't think you could go wrong.   Also, I have heard stories about the Clarisonic causing breakouts the first week or two of use. As for the Pretika, I did not experience any breakouts when I started using it.

Everyday Essentials

I don't wear makeup everyday, but when I do I pretty much stick to the basics unless its for a special occasion or event. My "everyday" routine is pretty simple. I go for more of a natural look. All of the products I use are very affordable especially if you're a baller on a budget, like myself.

1. Maybelline Matte Mousse (Cocoa)

This is my all time favorite foundation! I swear by it. It gives a flawless finish and blurs imperfections.

2. Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes

Best mascara I've tried, hands down.

3. WetnWild Berry Shimmer Blush

This blush adds the perfect amount of color to the skin, Its perfect for everyday. It looks great with a variety of lipsticks and eye looks.

4. WetnWild Eyebrow Pencil (Dark Brown)
I use this pencil to fill in my brows. It thickens up my brows without making them look unnatural.

5. NYX Butter Gloss (Tiramisu)

This is the best nude gloss for everyday wear and it looks good on every skin tone.

6. Milk of Magnesia

If you have oily skin, you have to try this stuff out! It works wonders on my skin and keeps me matte throughout the day. I haven't had a probably with oiliness since I started using it. It is a great primer and it is very inexpensive. I actually got mine at Dollar Tree. It was only $1.

7. Mac Fix +

I spray my brush with Fix + before applying foundation to break up the product on the brush and give a more natural finish.

8. Mac Select Moisture Cover Concealer (NW45)

I use this concealer to clean up my brows and also to hide any imperfections I may have on my cheeks.

9. Real Techniques Stippling Brush
I bought this as a Christmas gift to myself and I'm very glad I did. It applies foundation smoothly and flawlessly. The brush is very soft also.

10. BH Cosmetics Angled Blush Brush (#2)
I love using the angle blush brush to apply blush. It picks up just enough product. It applies the blush very nicely on the skin.

It's starting to look a lot like fall.

The weather has been at its lowest temperatures these past few days, burr. But I have been keeping warm and drinking tons of hot cocoa.  Yesterday, I just so happened to be wearing two of my favorite fall colors: rust and burgundy. My lip combo was giving me life. I'm a huge fan of dark lippies. Not to mention, it looked great with my cozy scarf that I love oh so much. Just wanted to share a few pics with you guys.

Mary Kay at Play Eyeshadow

I received this Mary Kay Eyeshadow Trio as a Christmas gift and I am in love! The trio feautures these three colors and they are absolutely gorgeous. They are very pigmented and they last through out the day. The shadows don't have names. The first color is a bluish teal, the second is a bright gold, the last is a bronzey black color. I did a tutorial on Youtube using the gold eyeshadow. I will link the video down below. Hope you guys enjoy. :)

New Years Eve 2013

New Year's Eve is all about the glitz and glam. What better way to bring in your New Year than with sequins, glitter, and gold? You can even go for the classic all black look. I came up with the following looks for a wonderful evening to spend the night counting down into the new year. Both looks are great for going out for drinks with the girls, having a dinner date with your fav guy, or even partying the night away at the biggest party of the year.
